Last Thursday Luxborough Street was temporarily closed to traffic for the Marylebone Low Emission Neighbourhood (LEN) Community Street Party.

We were joined in the sun by Dr. Bike cycle checks, Sustrans with their pedal powered tunes, face painting, air quality activities and information about other Low Emission Neighbourhood plans.

Meristem provided a Green Pop-up Parklet, deck chairs, 10 trees, grass and bunting.

We have been involved with 12 car free street parties across 4 boroughs this year. These events are a wonderful fun way in promoting healthier and safer streets.
