Pop-up Christmas Parklet Rounds up an Amazing Year of Parklets

In 2019 Meristem Design installed over 40 Parklets in locations such as:

Last week Meristem Design got festive, constructing a temporary Christmas Parklet for Heathrow airport staff members.

Heathrow’s Way2Go campaign, encourages Heathrow staff to utilise public transport, active travel and car sharing, to reduce colleague car trips to Heathrow. The Way2Go campaign and the Christmas Parklet were implemented to help staff consciously think about how the car parking space is used as well as staffs current travel choices.

The Parklet had everything from Christmas trees with lights to seating, blankets, Christmas tunes and not to mention free hot chocolate for all staff brave enough to venture into the cold.
