Brent Schools Go Green this Summer

This has been a very busy summer for our team in Brent with over 1000 square metres of green screens, two nature gardens and a series of living herb walls.

The green screens help to reduce pollution by between 36% and 41% for NO2 and PM10, respectively” according to a recent report by Defra & the GLA.

We also installed two nature gardens; converting grey tarmac spaces into green vibrant playgrounds full of trees, wildlife habitats, nature ponds, bee and butterfly friendly planting, climb through and over features and more.

Other popular features include living and edible walls, sensory gardens, custom planters with seating, outdoor classrooms and connecting children with nature workshops.

The Brent schools included:

  • Ark Franklin Primary School

  • Harlesden Primary School (funded by Brent Council)

  • Our Lady of Lourdes (funded by Brent Council)

  • Brentfield Primary school

  • John Keble Primary School

Our services include a free site audit, free playground designs incorporating all the above features and we also assist with funding opportunities, such as crowdfunding. Please contact us now for more information!
